I was touched to receive a message from a tea ceremony teacher from Omotesenke.

August 22nd, at the tea ceremony

Summer Festival - A Cup of Tea Connecting the Universe and the Heart

Hanging scroll "Moon Water Flow"

(The reflected moon blends with the water and flows away.)

We have passed the beginning of autumn and have now entered the new moon at the end of summer.

Matcha is made from naturally grown tea trees.

Put this into a bowl, pour in water heated over a fire, and shake the tea whisk as if drawing a circle (edge).

The tea ceremony, whose manners connect people and create harmony, can transform space into art, and I believe it is a culture that Japan should be proud of.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the owners of the English school for giving us this valuable opportunity, as well as the children, teachers, and parents who will represent the future of Japan, the owners of Yame Matcha "Seigaya" who provided us with matcha, and the many others who have supported us behind the scenes.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude here.

Thank you so very much.
